It has come to our attention that customers are in need of earrings to go with our Vignette pendants! “Just a little piece of glass to coordinate colors” they said. Of course, we had to push it over the edge and start a whole new facet to our studio work.
Each focal bead is made here in our Finger Lakes studio using the Lampwork process. Glass rods go molten in the torch and spin onto steel rods. Bead grow out of glass rods and fragments of various colors. A final run through the kiln and they are fresh and ready for assembly. The beads are combined with copper, brass, pewter, silver and other metals to bring attitude to the statement.
